National Bank of Romania Open Day is taking place on 17th of April 2019.
This year the National Bank of Romania celebrates 139 years of existence so they will have an Open Doors Day. It is one of the most enigmatic institutions in Romania so is worth having a look on its history and collections.
The event is scheduled between 11:00 and 19:00. Access will be possible from 25 Lipscani street. Is good to have an identity document with you, otherwise you might not be able to enter.
Besides the museum, they will open also the Old Palace which is the former headquarters of the bank. Inside you can visit the Council Hall, the Governor’s former Office and the Marble Hall.
Information will be available about the buildings, the architecture and history of the bank.

- TezAur (Treasury) – the gold from deposit and threads to ingot and coins.
